FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the Reel Rock Tour?

Reel Rock founders Josh Lowell and Peter Mortimer have been producing and directing climbing and adventure films for over a decade, with devoted audiences around the world. Their work has won them dozens of awards at international film festivals.

After organizing small tours for their individual film releases, Lowell and Mortimer realized the huge demand for exciting live events in the outdoors community and combined forces to create the Reel Rock Film Tour in 2006. In 2019 the REEL ROCK Tour included over 500 screenings world-wide and was seen by more than 75,000 people.

This year's Reel Rock 16 Tour is likely to be quite different but will feature some of the most recent epic climbing achievements and be as entertaining as ever!

What time do the screenings start and finish?

Most screenings start at 7:30pm, have a 15 to 20 minute interval at around 8:30pm and finish at around 9:45pm (so the screening runs for a little over 2 hours). Some screenings start at different times so please check your local screening details for start times.
